Can Tactile test for other access needs besides blind and low vision users?
Yes, many accessibility improvements help more than one group, including people with temporary or situational needs. But Tactile’s testing and lived experience are centred on blind and low vision use.
Do you assess general physical accessibility of spaces?
No. Tactile does not position itself as a general physical accessibility auditing practice. Our physical offer is specifically about tactile maps and orientation support.
What is the difference between tactile map work and a building accessibility audit?
Tactile map work is about designing, implementing, and testing orientation maps. It is not a general audit of the whole building or premises.
